Children playing at golden hour

The Cody Ron Foundation

Built by the railroad. Broken by the system. Rebuilt by love.

Turning loss into something powerful. We support children of railroad workers with real programs, real connection, and real care — especially when no one else does.

"Support should never be conditional."

Our Mission

The Cody Ron Foundation exists to uplift and support children who have lost a parent in the railroad industry — especially those who have been overlooked by traditional systems.

Through meaningful programs, community support, and joy-centered initiatives, we help families find stability, connection, and moments of light during life's hardest seasons.

Because every child deserves to be supported — not just the ones who meet the criteria.

"We're building what should have already existed."

Our Story

Where It All Began

This started with loss — but it didn't stay there.

It became love in action.

After losing a father who gave his life to the railroad, we saw something that couldn't be ignored — families falling through the cracks, children navigating grief without support, and systems that didn't always show up when it mattered most.

So we built something different.
